Celtic Harvest Festival
Royal Huntsman Tournament

The Shire of Gate's Edge invites you to our annual Faire to celebrate the Harvest.
Please join us for a weekend of competition and Celtic celebration as we revel and rejoice
at the end of another great Harvest.
Champions will be chosen
for the following endeavors:
Lord Padriac of Kilkenny
Lord Bastian Eisengart
Lord Brian O'hUlliam
Arts and Sciences
HE Master Ihon Vinson MacFergus
HL Leofwine of Sumersaetum
A Champion of the Faire will also be chosen. This Champion
will be chosen from those participants who enter at least 4 of the individual competitions.
Their Royal Highnesses Ulsted and Ebergardis have announced that they shall hold a tournament this date
to select a Royal Huntsman to serve during their reign. The tournament shall be held at their pleasure.
Herr Dietrich Strobelbart promises a delicious feast. The feast shall include:
- Fresh Baked Bread accompanied by Herbed Butter and Honeyed Butter
- Mistress Sarafina's Cheese Goo
- Roasted Chicken with Rosemary and Lemon
- Spiced Beef Roast
- Saffron Rice
- Beets with Cinnamon and Clove
- Peas with Mint
- Roasted Harvest Vegetables
- Spiced Apple Cake
The feast fee is $9.
Feast is limited so reservations are encouraged!!!

The site usage fee is $10 for adults, $5 ages 6-17, children 5 and under are free.
Site family maximum fee is $30.
A $5 non-member surcharge applies to anyone without proof of SCA membership.

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Minors may also attend with a 21 year or older adult with a signed and
notarized Minor Event Waiver Form from the parents.

The site is Camp Camwood located at the corner of Magnolia/Nichols Sawmill Rd.
and Clear Creek Rd. in the Magnolia/ Hockley area.
Beer and wine allowed in period containers only.
Smoking in designated areas only.
PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED. Service animals only.
Site opens 5pm Friday and closes Noon Sunday.
